Connectivity mural

One of four murals I designed fand painted or Lantern Terrace — an affordable housing community in Alhambra — this vibrant piece transforms the children’s play area into an uplifting, imaginative space. Covering 620 square feet of wall and floor space, the mural features bold, blocky silhouettes of natural elements, including cacti, raindrops, leaves, the Earth, and abstract organic forms.

Painted in a palette of bright, playful colors, the artwork is designed to spark curiosity and a sense of joy while echoing the natural world. A painted track loops along the floor, inviting kids to ride tricycles and engage with the mural through movement and play.

Created as part of a larger effort to bring warmth, creativity, and community spirit to this multi-family residence, the mural celebrates the vibrancy of childhood and the importance of nature-inspired spaces in urban environments.
